LAHORE: The Lahore Bar affiliation (LBA) on Sunday announced the end result of its new office-bearers for 2019-20.
As many as five,062 LBA participants had exercised their right to vote within the polling at the Judicial complex from 9am to 5pm on Saturday.
Asim Cheema of Hamid Khan-led expert organization secured 2,585 votes and become elected president, his rival Ahmad Awais Qazi of Asma Jahangir-led unbiased group were given 1,830 votes and the 0.33 contestant Khwaja Nayyar polled 556 votes.
the opposite elected workplace-bearers include senior vice president Ijaz Basra, vice president seat of the model city Bar Syed Mujtaba Kazmi, widespread secretary Malik Maqsood Khokhar, joint secretary Zaraam Waheed Butt, finance secretary Raja Nauman, library secretary Samiullah Khan and auditor Mirza Asghar Gujjar.
